YOUTH FELLOWSHIPS

History has proven that youth are the best at standing up to authoritarians, and now is no different. Just 15% of youth believe the U.S. is headed in the right direction. Let’s give the 85% the tools they need to make a change!

49 million Gen Zers are eligible to vote next year, including ~700,000 voters right here in Minneapolis. What are we doing to prepare them to protect democracy? BIWP has developed a 5-month youth fellowship program to train 20 Minneapolis artists and activists to become the skilled, trusted future of our local politics.
