Yastril Nanez

Yastril is an advocate for community members facing criminal charges as a public defender in Hennepin County. She is a first-generation attorney and is passionate about increasing legal literacy in her community and assisting aspiring Latinx law students. Yastril  believes the privilege of having a good attorney should not depend on your financial situation, immigration status, or language barriers.
