Chelsea Sheldon
(she/her)
Organizing/Operations Director
Chelsea believes in the positive potential for political systems to change the world when organized effectively and inclusively.
Chelsea Sheldon is the co-founder and the Organizing/Operations Director for Believe In What's Possible.
She earned her B.A. in 2022 from Vassar College with majors in Education and Drama and a focus on community organizing education. Her journey since has focused on finding opportunities for education, electoral organizing, and art to overlap.
Chelsea has 7+ years of political leadership experience as a Campaign Manager, Policy Aide, Youth Outreach Director, Speechwriter, and Volunteer Coordinator with county commissioner and city council campaigns/offices. She is a certified community organizing coach with the Leading Change Network and a 2024 graduate of Marshall Ganz's Leadership, Organization, and Action course at the Harvard Kennedy School. She is also a proud member of the Twin Cities Hub of Global Shapers, board member of Gender Justice Action, circus performer, and high school Speech & Debate Coach.
Chelsea's organizing is rooted in unflinching optimism, anger at how politics speaks to and about her generation, and a long-lasting curiosity for how young people learn to create social change.
