Believe In What’s Possible

Gen Z is being gaslit by politics. We are told we are disengaged - that we don’t care, don’t listen, and don’t vote. But Gen Z has never had full access to the tools, space, or power we need to engage. BIWP wants to change this.

Youth-led movement making

Unprecedented times demand unparalleled leadership. Believe In What’s Possible is a youth-led, nonpartisan nonprofit working to reveal, center, and support youth leadership in Minnesota’s politics. We train, organize, and mobilize our peers to build youth power and sustainably increase youth voter turnout by 5% primarily in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and St. Cloud, MN.

Youth Fellowships

Our recurring youth fellowships on community organizing and art/content creation. If you want to be the next civic leader for your community, come join us!

The Scheme Space

Our monthly youth-led social space for political discussion, relationship-building, civic education, co-conspiring, and fun. No political experience necessary!

Turn Up to Turn Out

Our annual event series during the early voting period that sparks sustained political engagement, encourages creative expression, and inspires voting - all while surrounded by good music and good friends!

  • “I grew up in a political climate that hasn’t created much room for imagination and community building. Having a space to celebrate our voices and dreams outside of simply voting has changed my relationship with civic engagement entirely."

    Nick Broske (he/him), age 21

  • “BIWP gives me hope in times when I think that so many things are going wrong. It provides a safe atmosphere to learn, grow, and meet new friends. I don’t feel judged for not knowing certain things about my community or neighborhood."

    Richa Vijayvergiya (she/her), age 25

  • "BIWP has given me a way to be politically engaged in a way that is healthy and sustainable, because they provide a space for necessary conversations."

Turn Up to Turn Out Attendee, age 23

  • "BIWP definitely has given political engagement a much needed revitalization for younger people."
